Dr. Norbert Christmann

Dr. Christmann is a wonderful vet. We've taken our puppy to him for his shots and we brought our kitty in to be spayed and declawed. I have volunteered for years with animal rescue groups and have been to practically every low-cost vet clinic in three states and I have never seen such a clean spay. Even my mom's vet, who charged $400 (nearly 3 times the price I paid) to spay her cat, didn't do as good of a job. There was no swelling, no redness, the she didn't seem to be in any pain at all. The vet has been so loving and friendly towards our puppy, too. It's so great to have a vet with knowledge, skill, attention, and passion as a full-cost vet clinic, but with prices barely higher than the humane society and other "fast-food" clinics. I recommend this vet 100% to everyone I know in the area and beyond it... We drive all the way from Clermont (about 40 minutes) to see Dr. Christmann and it's totally worth it!

A Vet you can trust AND afford by ckoch407 -

I have had to take my cats here for several major issues this year. ( a broken leg, and a major surgery) . After having many bad experiences for minor issues with "high pressure sales" type vets, I am very happy to have found this place. Dr. Christman and his team put the welfare of the animal first and are the most affordable as well. They are the most caring pet hospital that I have experienced. Thank you Dr. Christman and team for all that you've done for our cats !!!

Vet doing a great job by Dog's Best Friend

My name is Paul with Dog's Best Friend of central Florida. Behavior rehab and training. I have seven dogs of my own , plus take in a stray or rescue from time to time. I started using Dr. Christmann about 8 months ago. Generally for exams, shots and minor issues. I recently had an issue with one of my little Havanese. She was throwing up, bleeding profusely from her rectum and looked like she was near death. Doc spent over 2 hours trying to find what was wrong with her. No obstruction, No poisoning that we could pin point, He also found that her blood was not clotting. He treated her for symptoms of rat poison ingestion because that was the only thing that made any sense. Gave her a huge vile of vitamin K. Also vitamin B, and anti biotic along with Vitamin K tablets to give her every day. Within just a couple days, Bailey was back to her old self and I had my little girl back. Thanks to Doc and his staff who were terrific through the whole process. These people really care. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone and the rates are very fair for all services. Thanks again, Paul

I just moved to the area and needed to find a vet for my cat concerning his health problem. I found this clinic and decided to go there, and I am glad I did! The office overall had a caring feeling towards my cat, they were calm and reassuring to him showing they really were concerned for their patients. I did not feel like we were just another number for the books where they beat you down with their sales tactics for products. My cat ended up having to get surgery and the doctor kept me informed all the way. I really like his honest approach and how humble he was through out the whole experience, which is actually one of the main qualities I prefer in a doctor. My kitty still has a long road to go but I trust Dr. Christmann to do what is best for my cat. I will definitely be bringing all of my critters to this practice in the future and highly encourage you to do the same!
